what is completely compatible with damsels? need definites :help2:

Clowns can go with damsels since they are in the same family. You are going to have a very aggressive tank with all these damsels, so you are going to be looking for very aggressive fish. Other fish that can go with that many damsels are Triggers, Lions, Puffers, Hogfish and a few wrasses. But only a few of them are suited for a 40 gallon tank though.

There's some hybrid damsel out there that's a domino damsel with yellow on the bottom. pretty sweet lookin fish. My old roomie used to have one.

yea, where could i find some hybrids like that?

get an eel. it would be cool to have all them damsels and one big eel.

wont an ee eat them

Get a LUNARE WRASS, or a BANANA Wrass. Damsels won't mess with them. Triggers will eat the damsels. You can also get a couple of BANNER FISH.Oh yeah, make sure the other fish you put in are larger than the damsels. The CLOWN FISH of choice for damsels is a TOMATO CLOWN or a MAROON CLOWN.

what about a niger trigger and a small snowflake eel?

A Niger would be okay in a 40 with damsels, just make sure its a juvey and not an adult, (dont want any bad habits to come with it)

Lunar Wrasses are beautiful, but will outgrow that tank in a real short time and will dominate that tank, kill all your cleanup crew especialy shrimp!

A very good fish, reef safe and all and will not be bullied by damsels is the Arced Eyed Hawkfish, colorful, a swimmer, will eat anything it can fit in its mouth ie cleaner wrasse, some psuedochromis (small elongated fish) but will leave the rest alone and grow with them if put in as a juvey.
