i have been doing a lot of research over the past two months and i believe i am going to get some dart frogs. i started converting a 40 gal breeder into their new tank and will post pics soon. if anybody has kept them and has a few things they think i should know, feel free to tell me everything.

i have 2 dendrobates tinctoious. they are great. though in captivity they are not poisonous, don't handle them. their skins are very fragile. i wouldn'y reccomend keeping different species together. what species are you interseted in?

Learn to culture fruit flies first before you get the frogs. Always have a back up source of fruit flies.

Set the tank up and let it sit for a few weeks to "cycle" Seed it with spring tails a few weeks before as well to give them time to get established.

Do a search for my post. I have been breeding them for about 5 years and have posted quite a few pics on here .

Read read read all you can.

wow. nice frogs! i really like Dendrobates auratus, but i am open for suggestions.
