Yes that is what I am saying.
yeah. when we found out we coulnt keep two different species, i wanted to get a citronella tinc and a powder blue. turns out thats not good either. we ended up just getting powder blues

I love Dart Frog people........You'll find that everyone thinks they're right and everyone else is wrong.......Even funnier to watch them argue over something so miniscule.......Weird bunch of people......

Ok so I guess I am not one of those "weird people"

I am just stating my opinion as I have bred them for a few years.

I dont like water features, he does. No biggy. I dont mix, most people dont mix, some due.

Just opinions, like every other thread on this board.

lucky. i have been trying to breed mine but we dont know the sexes.

and by the way i was at the museum and they had this tank full of dart frogs of all kindsof species they had
tinctorious
auratus
leucomelas
pumilio &
azureus

all in the same tank?

My local zoo has a planted solarium with leucs, azuras, tincs, and galacs. The frogs are all bred separately off exhibit, but mix together well for public viewing, at least for the zoo. I hear they are planing of adding some terribilis next. This exhibit must be about 10 foot by 8.

I haven't done dart frogs for a few years, but I found the larger ones easiest to work with, and I didn't mix species.

I would definitely agree with the comment about not mixing. Just keep one morph of one species, trust me it's more fun and less stressful. You should start one culture as soon as the old one starts to produce, it is difficult to get flies if a culture crashes even if you know someone. I have to respectfully disagree about the water feature comment, auratus are way more bold when there is moving water in their tank. Most species couldn't care less. If you decide to have a water feature you need to make the pump easy to access it will clog at some point.

about mixing it can be done but you should have a few years xp before you try also don't mix any thing that can interbreed tincs auratus azureus and leucs can all interbreed you can mix color morphs as long as you cull the babys also you need a big tank in the 100s of gallons and keep it very under stocked here are some good sties for more info and places to get frogs
