If you could get 4 or 5 you would probably be alright. Minimum is 3, and that's only if they are all the same size. It's a good sign that they are still eating. I would keep them in the ref for a bit and cycle another tank if you have one.
The AT is only 1.5" but much more robust than the new guys. It bullied and killed the AT I got with it which was much smaller. I am wondering with fish to keep in the refugium while another tank cycles....the AT or the two IT babies??maxxximus87;4799061;4799061 said:

Maybe if the AT is put away for a while and returned to the tank at a later time it won't try to assert it's dominance but you just never know.
OK....I have a plan. I am out the door to get a few supplies to get my 10 gallon going under my big tank. I will cycle with a few feeders.....if they survive at least they will be fully quarantined for food. I will move the AT into the refugium and allow the new Dats a nice adjustment.
