Not really,sometimes a lively one may begin to sulk after it is brought home.

Ended up with a 1 incher. Cute little guy. The 3 inch dat ended up costing 80. Rather spend 20 and see how much the kids like it. Who knows maybe additional dats down the road.

Doesnt seem to shy, hes been exploring the tank. Tried a couple of pieces of tilapia which went untouched. Not surprised

Keep trying with the cut up fish,it will eventually start eating it.
