Im still not sure but Im leaning slightly towards ST. One thing is for sure its eyes are messed up! Have you been treating it?

treating with?

salt?

how are they messed up?

one seems larger than the other...

pls advise-

i have been dosing the tank with salt and stress coat for his side wounds (came with 2 small ones and has a newer one) that i believe was self inflicted by flashing on some sharp drift wood....

pictured below...
they are small and one has a small flap of skin hanging-

IME large eyes likley develope when a fish is stunted..i highly doubt its any type of disease unless the eyes are protruding out like pop-eye.

i say just keep it well fed, make sure the water is good..give it a large tank to grow in..

Looks like popeye to me. Somethings definitley wrong. Treat it quickly.

well,,,

I think his eyes are getting better over what I got him at....

treat him as ?

all I have ever done with my p's is salt and clean water... thats what i'm doing with this guy -

do i need to separate and use other meds?

oh and is this guy ST and not CT or ????

This guy is not ST nor CT. It is purely a 3-bar Indo...

ST (Siamese Tiger) are D. Pulchers from Thailand (hence Siamese), and CT (Cambodian TIger) are D. Pulchers from the Mekong River.

what makes u so certain its 3bar indo?
how do u know where the fish came from?
