The people on here know what they're talking about. They will grow slow. They'll grow from 2"-6" within 6-8 months with clean water and a pellet diet. The growth will get real slow after 6"

Mine don't eat pellets yet. They don't even come to the water surface. I feed them dry shrimps everyday and raw prawn pieces at some days. They love dry shrimps. Lets see mine are whether normal or exceptional growers. I'll update size of the my two every month with pics here. I added two baby silver arowanas to their tank today along with a demsoni cichlid pair. Have to keep in touch of how they get along with other fish.

Alot of people sell them as after a several months or one year.. they realise they are SLOW growers. Even the exceptional occasional fast growing one is still slow compared to other monster fish out there.

Thanks for the heads up. I was thinking of adding them to my monster cichlids soon. Think it will take more time than I thought now.
