I thought archers were Brackish though? other wise I would already have some :D

do they ever shoot water at you? :D

I tried the freeze dried krill today and I had a lot of bites. Practically all of my dats took at least one bite. Only the clown knife and jaguar are being primadonnas. Starting today, I will only feed them the freeze dried krill twice a day. In two weeks, I will try feeding them pellets again. They should be used to floating food by then.

Lucky...mine won't even look at it. I guess I shouldn't complain because at least they will eat frozen krill. Will keep trying though.

The monkey see monkey do totally happened in my case. All the dats started munching on them once three of my dats tried them. I've had bad experience with the jaguar and clown knife though. I starved them once for 6 weeks but they still did not try pellets. This time I will slowly do the transition. FD krill for now, pellets in 2 weeks.

Funny question. I've actually had them spit at me while laying on my bed about 4 feet away. The amazing thing was that they found the smallest opening and wouldnt stop until I fed them. If you watch them closely they will shoot water softly to knock food away from the glass when eating.

Ha ha, I might have to look into getting some :D

Sinister had a good experience with archers. In my case, I once had a couple that was kept in freshwater at the LFS. It died under my care after 3 weeks. I don't know what happened but it just withered away.
