Sorry for your loss.:rip .Thats why i take care when im using feeders, i hold them for about a week or more before feeding them, finishing off a batch before i get another batch then start all over again..Cant u do an autopsy or something as to im curious as to what killed it in such fast rate without any symptoms, the scales and gills look fine and it looks like it was really an internal sickness...

Actually the scales do not look fine. Look in the first picture of when he has it in his hand. The back tail section of the body is missing scales and all the color in it.

That sucks, sorry for your loss.
 
Usually at that size, it's a heart related issue. But it will show outward signs. Often times they will list to one side or the other, hold improper attitude in the water (nose or tail heavy) and go off food.
 
it was eating fine before it died.. i remember posting shrimp feeding pics a few days back before its death .
