Dead fish :(

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
A very similar thing happened to me in the beginning, keep your head up and just learn from this.

That sucks - sorry.

I've had a bout of heaters doing this lately - seems that no matter what you are willing to spend, you can't get a good reliable heater. For this reason, I've gone to going w/ two small undersized heaters or one undersized - understanding that we really don't need to keep most of our fish as warm as we think. Plus, it saves on electricity.

I'll try that I don't keep my place that cold anyways

If you use a heater controller, this will ensure that both heaters turn on at the same time, and will prevent the heater from raising the temperature higher than desired.

OK so I figured out why they were at the top of the tank my filter was trickling out so I cleaned it it's back up to speed and they are chilling now
