DEAD!! WHY??

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
Aren't all animals like humans susceptible to stroke? Or maybe some kind of birth defect? If your water parameters are in check, it's not your fault...period.

as explained already, younger aros jus croke. it happens. nothing you can do about it. usually i try to recommend people who haven't kept aros before to start with an aro over 6" as it has already passed that stage of "will it make it". way hardier and almost a 100% chance it will survive to adult hood as long as you provide space/food/water for it. when younger, there are so many lil things ur facing against that can cause the aro to croke with no signs of why or how. it just happen.

get another, but this time get one over 6"

nah they were from different shops about a year apart. they have enough room and they get a good enough diet! i want to know why they just croke!
i have had aro's before, i aint a beginner.

how would stress be involved? the big guy was on his own? and the little ones had only a few clown loach and some plecos with them? they all had plenty of plant cover too. mystery, eh? i will get another one soon as i can find one. i never seem to be able to find them.

I really commend your steadfast desire to figure out why, it's a question still unanswered. Scientific studies require such strict , exact conditions it's hard. You have the kind of attitude that makes a difference on behalf of what is best for the species. So if you learn, please share.

Otherwise, get a new one and stop knocking yourself !!!! You did all you could.

once i set my mind on something i tend to go all the way. i like to ask questions, coz thats how you find answers and knowledge is king!! lol

but nah just wanna know why, if ya get what i mean.

cheers guys. xx
