So I thought I’d give an update on this: I left the Green Severum in his timeout tank for like 2 weeks, everything was fine and all of the red severums wounds healed up nicely. I also added in a few more hiding places and will continue to make more in the next few days.
I added the Green Severum back in 2 days ago, at first everything seemed fine, but when I woke up yesterday, the red Severum was beat up pretty badly and hiding again. Today the red Severum has been out pretty much all day, and I haven’t seen any aggression from the Green Severum towards it. However the Green Severum is now much more aggressive towards the other fish, chasing them away if they get too close to him.
Idk why the dynamic all of a sudden changed, but I’m not really complaining because the red Severum seems more comfortable and the Green Severum isn’t doing any damage to any other fish in the tank.
