There is no myth... I have no doubt that if someone was in front of some of these setup's that have failed in the past, they would be dead or wishing they were.

SCARRY to think about........, thats why I dont..... Interesting though..

ehh, its one of those things you don't think about, and if you do, you'll end up living life as a lunatic or in a bubble, always afraid of what could happen. I mean think about it, everyday when we get in our cars to go to work we could be killed in accident at the blink of an eye. But do we think about it every single waking moment? No, we just act like it wont happen and continue on with our daily lives.

Build it right and you'll be fine

Death is a very real possibility if you're in the wrong place at the wrong time. A giant tank made with 1" acrylic would scare the hell out of me now. My 750 was made with 1.25" and still failed.

Not worried about them "falling" but failing.... as in if you suddenly have a 200lb piece of glass charging at you with the weight of thousands of pounds a water pushing it. Or god forbid- a 400lb+ piece of acrylic with 10's of thousands of pounds behind it.. Or if you have your face against the glass, and a rock falls over inside, and a huge break happens and the sharp edge pushes out at you with the force of a samurai sword wielded by a rock giant... ect.

God dont be such a hypochondriac lol, and man did you make that sound terible
