gojira are sweet. I don't even know what to class them.

Most people call them progressive death metal. Personally, I call it "envirometal". "Backbone" has to be one of the heaviest songs ever! All of their songs have so much mass to them. Their live shows sound just as good as their albums. They have to be one of the tightest, most precise band out there today.

What do you guys think about the new behemoth album? If you haven't heard it yet, you'd better get on that. ITS INTENSE lol. I feel like they've brought back some more black metal into it, but kept the extreme death metal in the mix too. Ov fire and the void is my favorite song on it

Its a solid album but nothing special to me. I say that because there isn't anything new or groundbreaking, just another good Behemoth release.

I do agree that there is a more black metal riffs and overall vibes than their previous two albums.

I like both the new Gojira and Behemoth but lean slightly more towards gojira. I like Death Pony's use of enviromental. Works for me too.

LOL yea I forgot to list them ( idk how ) Yea I have seen some live but I havent seen necrophagist yet, sooner or later I will. I did see Nile live tho, it was rippin...absalutely un-paralelled insanity at its finest. Diecide is a fun show also I saw them a while back. But the last good show I went too was NIN this past summer, no its not death metal but I got a soft spot for Pretty hate machine, the downard spiral and Broken albums.
