Poor Taco-this makes me sad. Im glad to see he belonged to someone who really loved him, provided a good life for him and a good burial.. a nice bush or flowers over him would be nice..

I can empathize. I really got into the hobby because of the Midas I bought. A similar thing recently happened to him where he got sick and I thought he wasn't going to make it. Sorry for your loss
 
I doubt the water temp is the culprit. I have my pacu and an arowana in the garage. My water temp is way below 72 degree. And we all know how sensitive arrowana can be to cold temp. Perhaps something else killed your pacu. Sorry for your loss.
