Alright little trivia question here. What do you consider a TRUE tiger knife (using Miles's pic by the way)

Top fish is G. tigre, not sure about the other one, though...

I consider the bottom the royal tiger knife. The top fish only maxes around 12" while the bottom maxes 24". It is a totally different fish just no one has ever named it different... Ya know what I'll name it Gymnotus mezopterus

Interesting, do you know where it's from?

Yea it was caught in peru... The natives call it a Dracula knife

Cool, it could be new...although I suppose it could also be color variation in G. tigre. Have you seen any small specimens with that coloration?
