Decent price for these Lg rare fish?

Take a closer look in the "mixed african cichlids" tank. I have seen many a D. Comp swimming around them.
 
That guy on Aquabid (James) has great fish and is great to deal with. I have ordered lots of fish from him. If you take away the shipping for the size and coloration of the fish its not a bad deal but shipping is a neccessary evil. I wouldnt hesitate dealing with him, he knows what he's doing.
 
Mixxed reviews, but a couple more yes's than no's....

I'm gonna go for it, between the fact that they are exactly what I want, the exact size I want, shipped to my door, and I don't know where I can get all these fish at this size for a comparable price.

I did not as he did not post the site, I doubt they are large enough to put into my tank with two large congicus bichirs, and I like the idea of having the convenience of getting them all to my door with minimal hassle as the exact size I need.

I think my original question is void, as it really seems to depend on where your at and how bad you want them and how much you value the convenience of getting exactly what you want straight to your door.





 
Those fish are overpriced if there tank bred... i mean, if there all wild caught its not terrible
 
That is a good price on fish that rare and that big. Sure you can get small ones a lot cheaper that usually don't make it and will color up in a few years. I would go for it espicially the tyrannochromis. Never see them that large before. I paid 80 bucks for a 7 inch Fossochromis Rosturus that was fully colored up and worth every penny. I had many small ones that usually ended up with bloat or killed off by something else.
 
get what you pay for, the price is high for the large colorful fish. Its on the high side, but your getting exactly what you want and skipping the grow out part.
 
I dont know where you seen fish for those prices but thats atleast twice of what I'd pay. but If you have $ and want them bad then do it, but your aren't getting a deal. bshow
