Deciding wich aro is so hard!

silver aro is alot nicer looking... i would get a silver over a jar anyday.... but if you can find one a black aro would be alot better...

Well, last time I was looking for a black I could find 10'' for $150.
I dunno about nowadays.

I have a silver and a black in the same tank, the silver has passed the black in size even though it was much smaller when I got it. I would go black, its a beauty.

i had same choice, i went with the jar and got lucky he isnt very aggresice at all. i would try a jar if he turns out to be a agressive one the sell him and get a silver. but my jar is very mello so i guess its just if u get lucky or not and as long as other fish are close to his size or bigger

Easy choice if you go black you don't go back people say they get as large as silvers ive never seen one over 30'' and they grow slow . Some will say they get drop eye never even seen a pic of a black with drop eye they are thinner and can turn on a dime its a good choice.

i prefer silvers over blacks but i do agree they grow much slower. to be honest a 180 will hold just about any aro,even though it isnt right, BUT even a jar deserves bigger than a 180.

Anyways, I guess I'll go for a black if I can find one.
Still dont know what to put with the black, just want something thats peaceful, like maybe a pair or trio that's slow moving most of the time wich is why O's came to mind, and longfins look pretty nice.
