I love my Black,I have had him for only a month now but he is becoming my favorite fish.I think they are the prettiest one.

just shows you differance in countrys ,over here you can pick silvers up in just about any lfs , yet jars are uncommon , a couple of year back there was a lot of blacks around but we just dont see them anymore , asians are extreamly rare with only a handfull of shops doing them and i have yet to see a leichardi
Jars aren't very common near me, only one shop sold them.
Silvers are $100!

must admit i have kept jars silvers and blacks , my fav was my black which i grew from egg sack stage , but i really do love my jar
Silver's are cheaper a few towns over, but were they're cheaper is about a 3 hours drive from me.

I would get a black as my first choice, leichardti as my second and a really red jar as my third. Down were I am you can get silvers for like $30, Jars for $75, blacks in the 200's and lei's close to 300+ I think.
Yeah, problem is I dont know how much money I'm going to have left after setting up the tank. (I'm on a budget)

You can always wait a week or two and save up a bit more money. Don't compromise just because you can't afford it right now.
