Oh yeah, its fun to go hog hunting as they have no closed season and no limit, basically you can take any numbers of feral hogs per day. Shamed i dont live near feral hogs populations (but soon when the hogs start to move into Minnesota from Wisconsin)

Yeah I can't wait for them to work their way up the East Coast. I've got a .44 Magnum and an itchy trigger finger waiting for them. :D

I haven't gone hunting in 3 years... can't really afford it on a college budget, and don't have time to drive 4 hours to hunt on my dads land (I would still have to get a license). I really do miss it. It's not the kill that got it for me: it was the time in nature allowing you to relax, cheap meat was just a very nice perk.

You don't want to eat any of the ferrel members of the porcine family around these parts. Our wild pigs in Tx taste TERRIBLE. The hunting i enjoy most is Turkey, having to actively call the turkey instead of waiting of deer to come to a feeder (baiting is legal year round in Tx, and way too popular).

Last deer I killed was a nice symmetrical 8-point with an 18.5 inch spread. Dressed it weight 190 lbs. We may not have a lot where I hunt, but they sure are big!
