I think there is a range somewhere around here close to the lake. I saw it on TV once and I think it was either run by Active duty or reserve unit Marines or they just go there to help out. I'll call a local recruiter up and ask on Monday.

that'd be awesome! We could do a few fishing and shooting trips this spring/summer.

That would be great! Wife was pregnant last summer so we didn't get to do much of anything. We even went out and bought 2 new tents and some gear towards the end of winter and a few weeks later we found out she was pregnant lol.

My Stripped upper and upper parts kit should be here any day, so it won't be too much longer!

love the build. What type of trigger assembly did you get? I'm looking at the timney 3# skl. for mine right now if I can find someone who doesn't have to wait for it. and can get it to me before weeks end.

The trigger is just your standard ar 15 trigger assembly...nothing special yet. I want to get it built first, then i'll start tweaking parts to my liking.

Definitely pick up a 2 stage trigger eventually. I have one on my M4 and I love it. I still need to pick up another one for my A2.

I've heard the dual stage triggers are nice! What's different about it? I have never shot an AR with a dual stage trigger.
