Okay I'm 40 something and a sailor. I guess that makes me a manly man. I started keeping discus in my 20's because the 1st ones I ever saw where the largest ones I've ever seen.(big colorfull, and graceful was a bit of an enticement for the single women back then) Now I think it's more habit than anything else.

very expensive Habit but a great Lure for the ladies. Nice cars, nice house, nice clothes, nice watches, nice Fish tank its all about impressing the ladies. Once your done impressing the girls then you realize what is really important in Life like mortgage and tax :headbang2 I noticed you live in ohio have you ever dealt with Mike Beals central ohio discus. He has some good imports.

Well I am a guy, but grad student and "only" 27. (I started keeping them when I was 25.) Definitely not wealthy, but I am willing to spend my money on nice fish rather than say a nice TV.
