Depressed, should I give away my fish?

Bro i know how you are feeling man, im only 18 and in october i broke up with my gf of two years. It feels terrible. For the last month i've been very irresponsible and i neglected my fish but when it all comes down to it, why should i give up something i love just because she left. I understand how u are feeling. Im not gunna tell you there are more fish i the sea or any of that stuff, cause that advice just makes you feel worse. But i will tell you that life goes on man. You just have to respect her decision. Its not easy but you have to come to terms with yourself and accept it and only you can do that for yourself. I know it feels like the end of the world, i know that you feel like even if there are indeed more fish in the sea she was the only fish for you but bro, stuff happens and you just have to pick yourself up and deal with it. Things happen but Just be glad for what you had, who knows maybe she was there to build that step for you so that when you ascend to where you're supposed to be you can meet her again or even better things higher up the ladder. Its tough man, stay strong, dont keep it all to yourself, find a friend or a family member that you can relate and let it out to. Sometimes just talking it out can save lives. Good luck man, whichever you choose whether to keep your fish or not is up to you, but remember, make the choice because of you and not because of her. Good luck brother, i wish u well

Thanks for all the awesome input guys. It wouldn't be that bad but a few days after we split I texted her asking how she was and I guess she's talking to a new guy and he's amazing. It's so freaking how to not be sad.

Dude don't text her because you will be reminded and it will make you more depressed. Just move on and don't look back because the past will hold you back if you don't Learn to get over it. The fact she's already talking to a new guy would give you a message that she has moved on. WHY should you be the only one back in the shore? START SAILING INTO THE SEA!!!

Don't text her or call her , or she'll know that she has you by the b___s. we all go through it, it's part of life and it makes you stronger and one day you will look back and laugh . Keep yourself busy, don't let yourself curl up in the corner but stand straight and show your confidence.
