Designing a riparium aquascape in large tanks using wood.

Very cool. It’s like a living hydroponic system. I bet the plants do very well.
Thank you. This tank was setup a couple years ago. But the plants did do well. Was bumping this thread for a friend.

So what is your source for driftwood? I have quite a bit I have bought over the years, but have thought about collecting come naturally.

I get my wood from all around. Literally on the east coast and west coast. All my manzanita was sourced from various places in California. Most of my Malaysian came from the east coast. I had a store on philly who would literally keep large pieces in the back for me knowing I’d buy it when I came in.

Very cool. I have a glass 90g laying around and would like to try something like this. How do you suggest going around the top brace. It's like 12" wide. It has an overflow box...is that not good for planted tank?

The brace will get in the way but you can lower your water line to creat space and go with smaller plants. Riparium supply has some cool baskets you can plant into and they suction to the back glass.
