Thos tank is acrylic is it not? If so get some Weldon and go around all the seems of the overflow box

Ive used the thick Weldon to fix stuff like this. Dont remember the number though sorry.
If it is just around the overflow box I dont believe you need thick Weldon because the pressure inside and outside the overflow box are the same if your standpipe is high enough. It is more so to seal the box and hold it in place
Oh ****, it is an acrylic tank, I didn't even look at the whole tank. Sorry for the misinformation. As an aside, silicone WOULD work, just not the best tool for the job. Just get the Weld-on and do it right. My apologies again for bad info and advice.
