Desperately seeking suggestions

i would go with a cuban,male synspilum and a salvini,have kept all 3 and i had a female syn in a 4x18x18 with a jag and a dempsey many years ago,also had other fish in there from time to time like a midas (not recommended in a comm),pike and a couple of oscars although these had to be moved for their own safety pretty quick !
I would say get a gold saum and a single convict which is similar to what I have. convicts make good dither fish for saums. you could also consider a midas but not sure how it would act since the jd is already so big.
this post is just going to give you a hundred suggestions on what everyone would put in there. you have to think about how many fish you are looking to put in there, how long they are going to live there, and especially what fish strike your interest of course. just cause geos are normally peaceful fish, doesnt mean they cant go into a semi aggro community. i have a male in mine and he is just as aggressive as the rest of them. it's one of those things where you might have to try a few different things out before you are satisfied with the occupants. it will take time, but not rushing into it will definitely be more rewarding in the end.
