Those are very nice.. I just got 3 baby ones. They're tough little critters to photograph. I'll give it a shot tomm.. I probably need to take them out of the tank. I have a blue one too..
 
cuties, i've had the pleasure to see these guys in the wild before, i'd get a few if they got to be larger, like 24"
 
Same here, I've seen these guys in the tidal marshes of Maryland and Virginia. They're very interesting little turtles. And to think these guys use to be considered a delicacy!
 
Beautiful! Do they have to be kept in brackish water or is regular freshwater O.K.?
 
just beautiful pictures you took there man. It really pops the brightness of the white pigment in the skin. awesome turtles. i made an attempt to get a pair but unfortunately state laws prohibit these beautiful turtles.

From what I've heard, captive bred animals can be kept in freshwater but you have to watch out for shell-rot and skin fungus. Brackish water seems to keep these problems in check. Wild caught animals have to be kept in brackish water but can be slowly introduced to water with less salinity over time.
