Diamondback Terrapin

I'd like to do these in a nice pond one day, they live only an hour or twos drive east, so the climate should be pretty close...

I keep mine in full freshwater with a bit of aquarium salt (like all my turtles). However, I had fungus in the tank once and the diamondback got it the worst...

Yeah, diamondbacks really have to have pristine water if you're going to keep them in FW. Most breeders keep the young in FW for the first few years of life and then slowly change it over to Brackish.
 
Keep my 3 in brackish water. The only problem I have had is that the largest has nipped the tails off the other 2 so have had to separate them; not happy
