Just bought my diatom filter...vortex freedom : )
Only difference between XL is the freedom can hang from the tank...in the back and away from view, just turn it on when needed.
I have 2 emperor 400 with 100 micron filter pads on it, but it's just not cut'n it. My water is still hazy. I can't wait for the df to arrive... : )
