Did I finally get a real red terror? (pic)

I took the dog to petsmant today and saw this in a tank with midas cichlids for 7.49. I have 2 mayans already from trying to get a reat rt. Any opinoins? There is also a pic of his/her grow out tank until he/she's big enough for the 540.

Can't tell from the pic but the ones at Petsmart are Mayans:(

I know their "red terrors" are mayans(which are also nice), but this "came in" as a midas and the tail spot is small and on the upper portion of the base of the tail. It looks different than my mayans. I'll try to get a bettet pic tomorrow since the lights are off.
 
Yeah, Get a better pic, but from what I could make out, the spot is off, which is good as Mayans are full......

Im think you might have one, but I withold my judgement untill we have a better shot!
 
SORRY, but that is a Midas.... Try on HERE for a real RT. There are some guys breeding them.

You can't tell if it is a Midas, or a RT from the pic...........

Could be either, no way to confirm for sure, yeah, It may be midas, but really...

I will hold my PERSONAL OPINION until then, I just think you are in good shape either way, and the Tanks ROCKS!

That's my 2 Cents........
