DID I GET Got?????

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
This is definitely a uropthalmus and you paid way too much but its a great fish. My female was very hardy, and had much personality...as much as a fish could have. If you feed high quality food they can have good coloration, albeit not as cool as a festae. The pic is of my uro who ate steady diet of hikari cichlid gold and fresh shrimp. Enjoy the fish for what it is and you will not be sorry.

Please notice the fish coloration and not the dirty tank or poor picture quality.

Thanks for the info and the pics but soon as john gets back to me and i get my female festae The URO or MAYAN is out of here.

Easiest way to distinguish between the two is as follows. uropthalmus' tail "eye spot" is eliptical and covers the entire tail meat while the festae's spot is circular and only covers the top portion of the tail.

Show us pics of the new festae when it arrives!

I don't want to sound like I am reprimanding you but always do your homework. Sometimes people don't even know what they are selling.
