Johns got Great Specimens. I just got these 2 females from him for my F0 male last week. The male is 8 inches & the females I got from John were 7 & 6 inches.

Sorry for the crappy photos. Ill have nice ones this weekend.

Looks like you got our last one. Sorry to hear about your loss. As I stated in our email ours are wild caught from ecuador and are true festae's. We have one female left at 6". Real nice speciman.

If he says he got it from shark aquarium, then whats the "looks like you got our last one" about?

Regardless, if you bought it from someone at a fish show, and they are a "reputable dealer" then I think it is VERY sad that they still have to trick folks with un-trained eyes into buying bloody Mayans...

I was letting Terry know that I was holding the last female festae for him, and told him sorry for his loss. Plus provided a little info on the festae he will be recieving from me.

Him saying "i emailed john" doesn't tell me a thing.
So no, it's not obvious...

think you're the only one who thought they were vauge, Horyoshi. I,and the others evidenty, thought it was pretty easy to follow.

that said, I've dealt with John, got my plecos from him. he's absolutely stellar. just waiting for him to get wild GT's in again =D
