Just remember that aro doesn't get to eat everyday in the wild. It's us who are pampering our aro too much and we tend to stress ourselves if the aro didn't eat for a few days.;):D
I agree with this. Before I use to freak out when my fish don't eat. But now I'm not OSD with it lol

I feel that by the colouration of the gillplate I don't think it's accurate to sex the silver by colouration on the gillplate area. Remember my silvers? Almost all got greenish gillplates and some got bluish one as well?:)

@liz - thanks for the pics liz.. ya she seems to have a very faint shade.. mine seems a lil darker though..
@koji - ya koji.. you never know.. but has anyone approached this coloration on the gill plate before.. i've read about the angle of the mouth, the pelvic and anal fins.. the caudal fin being smaller in males.. will pm you my queries.. thanks.. dont wanna deviate liz's wonderful thread :)

please do not even think your diviating my thread... i want as much info about everything as possible .. and it all relates to sex of arowana,... lol

theres so many colors in yours............... they have the entire pastel color chart....

:) cool...there is this farm in my city and they had this aro that laid eggs too.. must be easily 3ft plus.. they preserved the eggs and the fish after she died.. will prob go check on the fish and see if they have any visible markings or so and put it up here..
