Did My Arowana Have Eggs???

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
Also check Flagtails old threads, he had a silver drop eggs more recently then Delgado.

congrats Liz. it is considered good luck back home for aro to lay eggs. i have heard about it but never saw it in person.

well, my silvers are over two years old so i guess i will keep my fingers crossed =P surely out of three at least one must be a female lol ...hmmm come to think of it i recon i got a male in there too hehe

In any case, if my aros lay eggs, much bragging for me ^^

thanks... every name has been male.... now i think she will be named "Maybelline"...:D

Maybelline is unique.:D Congrats, Liz! Doesn't matter if they can't hatch after all. At least, you know already you did the right thing with your aro for her to lay eggs just like that.

wow you must be like a fish keeping goddess!!! i only know off one other person who has had an aro lay eggs!!! so is that why captive breed aros are so much more exspensive? beutifull aro btw. would love to see more pix of her...:)
thanks i will take more as soon as we completely do the make over for the tank.. with her fasting i think some food got underneath the bottom gravel filter, so very carefully we want to take that out and really do over the tank... they get so jumpy when you mess with their tank..that we may only be able to siphon and do a water change... but something is causing the tank to get cloudy.. so have to really investigate.
