act like a animal get treated like one.
if it was me i would of tased her for the hell of it and pepper spray her for the hell of it just to be an ass she wants to act like that and resiste and **** the **** you too :)

I see what LP and Studd are saying, i just disagree.

i dont' care if the cop was in the public eye. he reacted to a situation justifyingly so. it don't matter who pays their salary. i feel that if you are a cop, someone grabs and pushes you, you do whatever you need to do to stop that person

@bhack, which situation? I offered 2. one in which i acted out(in thery, this never happend) of what im supposed to do(which he did) and one in which i and one other person was able to control a 250 lb man on PCP without the use of punching or tazer. a simple cravat and some straps is all we needed. of course to be honost once he was tied down they hit him with a good dose of haloperidol. heh heh

@ paint, i would exspect him to act in a professional way. a punch to the face in this scenario is not acting accordingly.

Again what u guys are failing to realise is most people find something wrong with this. apparently i need to say it again, WHEN U ARE IN THE PUBLIC EYE, SUCH AS A COP OR A FF U ARE HELD TO DIFF RULES AND STANDARDS. you MUST act accordingly. A punch is NOT acting accodingly. Was it justified? by some standard but the fact yet again is it was not acting professionally which as a cop he needs to do. No way around that. You are a cop, you act professionally.

and again, i disagree. i say leave the professional crap for the businessmen, politicians, doctors, lawyers, and the likes.

when a cop is being attacked, being "professional" is the last thing on his mind. he's human for crap's sake. cant blame him for taking a swing at two attackers and just wanting to make it through the day to see his family.

i wish i could agree. i really do. but professional is what he is and how he must behave. If she swung at him i would say punch her dead in the face. As a police officer he needs to exhibit control and use the proper amount of force. that was too much force.

yet again, when u work in the public eye u need to act diff. if i was wereing my uniform at a bar, what would u think? same thing. Ur in the public eye u need to act accordingly

if anything, that cop should be given a reward for not using any more force than the weak blow to the face he gave her. he showed great restraint. the cop did the right thing

you sound like a broken record with reasoning. Cop did what he had to and it got reviewed by his superiors and they concluded that he did NOTHING wrong. If you know all the procedures for a peace officer in the state of Washington go fight the system and get the guy fired!!

Anyone stupid enough to try and physically take on an officer deserves a good punch in the face...excessive force? Yeah right. If he had allowed that situation to escalate, he might not be here right now (in good healthy anyway).

I agree he could have restrained her better, but in the heat of the moment and when you are nervous sometimes you "blank out" and handle it instinctually.
