it really looks like he was trying to be to gentle at first,should have took her down hard,but after the second girl came in if you do a take down it leaves you open to an attack with no one there to assist a strike is allowed and seems to have helped.

I would have taken the lady in pink down quick cuffed her and then dealt with the first offender.
I would have to say from the officer's handling of this he really would be in for some serious serious trouble if he were to meet someone who could handle themselves. I mean if he has such a time subduing either of these two ladies what is he gonna do against someone who is an actual threat.
I wish I could see the 2-4 minutes before the taping began to see how this whole incident actually started.

well maybe if she would stop resisting she wouldnt of got punched in the face... imo a punch wasnt the best choice, but he got the "job" done.
i just seen this again on the local news. it's the way the punch was thrown, clearly that's what everyone's image is about the episode. now they have they're coalition all involved in this. doesn't matter much what happened before or after. a lot of ppl are gonna remember the punch.

The officer was right. the one in pink should not have ever touched the officer.For all of you who have never tried to handcuff someone who does not want to be arrested it is very difficult.This is not tv when the officer use some crazy take down method.That officer is right to use any none deadly force against those two nuts.Baton,mace ,punch
