Did you sell out?....

I sold out in a way but not entirely. Still working with computers and technology
so in a way im still in line with what i want but not at the level that i desire. I have time though.


My dream is to win the lotto, not worry about financial matters and build a fish farm
where i can breed , research and sell rare fish. That has been my dream ever since i was 14. :hearts:
 
well gee redtail who doesnt have that dream :P

naw if i won the lotto (like, 15 million or so) id buy a modest house and car, buy a 20'x5'x5' tank or two, and make a fish store that totally pwns all other fish stores in a big city, and blow the rest of the money on advertising. Except I'd keep a million around in case it sinks.

I never knew what I wanted to do when I was young - just what I didn't want to do.


One thing I've learned is that "fun" jobs usually don't pay that great whereas jobs that take specialized training yet are dull and stressful (such as IT, legal work, etc.) usally pay pretty decent if you can hang in there.

It isn't selling out to make a living - tho many people seem to sell their souls for the sake of material things.

In end life is only good as your peace of mind, people you love and your health. If a job interfers with any of the aformentioned it isn't worth doing.

A key lesson I've learned in life is that I've learnt more & improved myself more as a result of set-backs and failures then by successes.

Thought about a fish store too. But i imagined it would be so much cooler to
have a fish farm... you can go outside to supervise the breeders then you have
your indoor facility where you house the grow outs and your Bad As Collection.

I imagine a stingray farm and pbass and other predatory fish.

Best part of it is that i will relocate to a state where the weather is nice all year round. :)
