As mentioned earlier all the fun jobs seem to be low paying. So you need to find something that you dont mind doing. That way it wont be a drag to go to work in the morning. You might not be thrilled about it but atleast you wont be sad or miserable about going either.
they always say, do what you love to do and the money will come. Well I always loved fixing stuff, and loved boats. now im a marine mechanic.... well i was, and I'll be starting again soon as a service manager. for a engine and generator company. my job will be to approve other people to do the labor. and to show them how to do it if they don't know. and also to show extremly rich people how to operate their new gear, as well as travel around to boat shows and talk to people about our product. for a marine motor head it doesn't get much better. (oh and finally after 11 years, the money is comming!)
I wanted to become a marine biologist when I was a kid. I obtained a B.S. in biological sciences with an emphasis in ecology and environmental biology, but decided to do something that makes a living instead, so I went to law school. I'm currently employed as an environmental and land use attorney.
