lol he is a little chubby ain't he. i've kept albino fish before and i don't really like them that much their plain if i had a choice i'd go with a regular sengal. bichirs can be active at times sometimes they're not. it just depends on their mood
I would think he would become a meal.Dutchman;4210481; said:haha true true
now if i can talk the lfs down in price, would a bichir and a zig zag work together or would the zig zag become a meal?
this was extremely helpful! ill see if i can scrounge around enough money for both lolPomatomus;4210519; said:I have a senegalus and an endlicheri bichir, and also a tiretrack eel. Both types are active in their own way. I'm going to try to compare my experiences with them:
The bichirs just kind of swim around stupidly, and if they had a voice they would be saying "WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!" They have a lot of trouble catching a fish right in front of them, but they pig out on food at the bottom.
While the eel doesn't swim from place to place much, it follows me around the tank, poking its head around things. It's one of the most interactive fish I've owned, and the only one that prefers to eat from your hand. That is, unless you feed them live fish. Then they simply pluck them from the water column with little effort!
I love both kinds of fish, and I think you need both. However, if I had to choose one to keep it would be the TT eel
