Taking it apart the last weekend in July hopefully !
The tank is so big I had to buy another house to fit it,
Actually, It's going into the reception area of my new sports injury clinic, which I don't get til the 20th of July. I don't feel like lugging that heavy glass around anymore than needed so havent taken it apart yet.
I want to get some cool fish in there, had a few people suggest freshwater rays.
When we disassemble a big glass tank, I use spectra. It's a super strong fishing line that does not stretch. Piano wire works also but I find that spectra works better. Don't use heat, silicone will not come apart with heat. Remove all traces of old silicone with new and sharp razor blade and clean the area with alcohol and just take your time. It takes lots of labor but it can be done.
