if you are getting picky, when figuring out actual inside water volume, don't forget to account for displacment of water by the substrate.
eg. 2" of substrate spread evenly about on a tank that size will displace almost 20g (about 17 or so)
so its even less. a 220g tank filled normally with 200 pounds of gravel will probably hold 190g of actual water (you lose water volume going by the inside dimensions as previously mentioned).
