Sometimes it takes them a few times to spawn before they keep them and once they hatch use caution when approching the aquariunm if you scare them in any way they may eat the fry. It is good that they hatched meens they are a pair and will breed, you will get fry one day, and they are very good at hidding the fry. They should keep the fry off the bottom not a good place for the fry to be. When I spawn mine I use a bare bottom hatching tank and use fresh water to maintain not the water from the main tank. The main tank has beneficial bacteria in it and that bacteria can destroy fry. I have had that happen and lost the hatch, that will only happen if the fry get to the bottom and remain there for a while. The male large discus in my avatar picture is a large Red Turquois and the female is a royal Blue discus and are a great breeding pair.
