thanks man. would ray's go with discus? i want a couple teacups also but haven't decided what to do with that tank, really leaning toward discus for now but we'll see.
I've never tried stingrays so I can't comment there. Maybe ask the stingray forum this one.

I have seen Discus with black ghost knife...and cories...German blue Rams (awsome fish) Angels, don't know about rays...heard it works though...

loaches-yes
fei feng-hells no
rays-yea
angels-yep just watch for disease
min # of discus-4
species-doesnt really matter, thay can be of more than one species as long as thayre in a group but it's better to go to an lfs that has a school and tank them from that school rather than buying seperate

I have visited someone who had a bunch of 5-6" discus with about a 7-8" motoro.. Tank was completely bare. Still looked awesome but probably because the discus were  Some people will say no way but to me it seemed to work..

i'd go a reticulated stingray and discus and clown loaches

My wife and I just got a 60gal, and are wondering about a getting a couple of discus to go with our 6in catfish (when we got him, we were told he was an upside down, but he is big for one, so I am not sure what he is!) and a pleco. We do want to get a couple of angels as well. Would these go together?

I should add that the catfish and pleco will be moving from our 30 gal to the new 60 gal in a few days...

what temp to duscus like?
Minimum I would consider is 82 degees Fahrenheit. Usually, discus are more vulnerable to health issues, the lower the temperature. Norm is 84-86 degrees.
