Hello, I currently have lost count of the number of discus I have (SoCalDiscus is my husband), but we keep our tank at 82 degrees, 6.0-6.5 pH, yes we have kept them with clown loaches and they are just fine if you feed enough, and I have 3 fei fengs in with the discus and they haven't even looked at the discus. I also have gold nugget plecos in the mix and they are thriving and growing well. The discus are breeding constantly. Ultimately, no lone discus... they usually get sick and die, autofeeders feeding 4 times a day, and clean water keeps them happy. GL
I will make this edit... the fei fengs are in a group of three and spend a large part of their time bullying each other. They don't give the discus a second thought. A single Fei Feng though may be a different story.
