The hybrids were ~3-4in and the wc were larger. I do have a picture somewhere. It has been 14yrs since I had those fish. The tank they were housed in broke in a move and I had to give them up to a lfs. I had babied them and was really sad when the lfs killed them through neglect.Did you raise your discus from small juveniles? Did you get them halfway grown? Do you have any pics of them as full grown adults?
Very nice, not sure exactly what they are, but a very good looking fish! These are the ones. I think they are blood pigeon.

Im sorry I dont think I made it clear. they arent mine yet. I need to get the softened water, sand and plants 1st. Hopefully this weekend I can get them. Theyre expensive so I gotta make sure evrything is perfect.congrats! it took mine a bit to come out of their shell and come out and beg for food

Little update for everyone. Gotta fill it up a bit, but I setup the tank and I think it looks pretty awesome. I got water softening pillows so I’ll test my parameters in the morning. The tank has been cycling for about 2 months and has had 2 fish for about a month. I plan on selling the cichlids because he is way to aggressive to put with any other fish and picks on his only tank mate, which is a Jaguar catfish. Would the jag cat be ok with the discus? He just really hides and doesn’t do much. And the discus I’m getting are pretty big. Thoughts?
