dither fish

if you read my signature you will see what is in my 45 now on monday im adding a black ghost knife i need a dither fish for my clown loaches i can never get them to come out from under the rock

I agree. They are active and fast as giant danios but look a hell of alot better.

Try adding a couple more Clowns. They look better and are more comfortable in groups of five or more.

the clowns are 2-3 inch im waiting on more to come in im gonna look into the rainbow fish thanks for the help

i had rainbows for my oscars but then they beat them up even though they were bigger.

Have 3 giant danios that I added to my one tank two days ago. My oscar only spent about 1 minute trying to catch them and then gave up..... They are quick and extremely active. Never tried Rainbows..... Might have to next time!!!

if you add fish with a similar pattern, like tiger barbs or Distichodus sexfasciatus, the clown loaches will try to school with them.
