They would grow faster as well. My fish are bulking up and FAST!

I would recommend calling your local Dept of Utilities to find out if there is chloramine in the water or not. I have a continuous drip system setup for my 180. Fortunately at the moment, my city does not put chloramine in the water, just chlorine. Simple is the best.

My setup is: cold water line > ball valve > whole house water filter w/ carbon filter to remove chlorine > reducer to 1/4" > 1/4" line > 1/4" ball valve > 1/4" line to tank.

It's cold water, but I adjusted my heaters to make up for it. They have to be adjusted season to season as the cold water is much colder in the winter, but they have no problems keeping up, 2 300w heaters in the sump.

My nitrates are @ 10ppm constant, which is good enough for me to not have to change water ever.

^ the link's been posted a few times, its the ones by filterguys :)

Chance (screen name TinyD) has a nice DIY 24/7 water change setup on his 535g, I set him a link to this thread, sure he has some good info ;)

very nice mopar :) i see you said the plastic regulators suck, any suggestions where to get a good one?

they do suck, but im still using the same one lol. since its in the garage i dont mind a drip here or there. only other option i explored was to use an all brass pressure reducing valve, but im too cheap to shell out the $75 for one.
