  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
Cheers y'all....

@David... The space I have given in the end is 12". I have my fingers crossed on the skim. As I see it I have around 60"x24"x6" of space to hold the skim. Which is just about rite if the system is working perfect. We will know more tmrw or daftr :)
What would be ur suggestion anyways?

Keep your fingers crossed!! :D

The pump you're running will decide how low you can have the water level in the last compartment, so I guess you'll just have to experiment when its up and running. Make sure the returns don't siphon back any more water than necessary.

Yup yup :) it all boils down to that...

For the returns it's gonna be a spray bar or something. In any case they would be above water. So siphon back is outta question.
Will keep y'all posted. Can't wait to fill it up and see my polys swimming about.

Got the overflow sleeve fixed and the tank is in its final place. Fixing of the sleeve was quite a task. The fumes from the silicone were just unbearable :). The top cover build is in process. Should be getting it finished today.

Ignore the return pipes. Will be trimmed to size.

Cheers,

Najib

SO what were the final dimensions, did you end up going 8x3x2'?

Yup that's the final size. Had to play with the size. Wanted 10' length but the meter room butted in. Wanted 2.5 height but for that I woulda had to buy a separate sheet of 19mm which woulda left me dry:D
The sump is 5'x2'x18".
