Exactly what I use here... have for years and never had to replace any of them as of yet... although I've also never had a problem with the blue cylinder ones either... Petsmart sells round air stones that are an inch to 1 1/2" in diameter and are strong enough to not break. I am slowly switching over to them. They are also heavy enough to not need to be weighted down. I think they cost under a buck or right around there.
