maybe this will get me to finish my stand and build a canopy for it too!

It definitely isn't as sturdy as I would have like....it's perfectly fine on the tank, but when taking it off it is a little flimsy. I has some scap wood that I built the corner and middle supports with. I would have liked to build a whole frame for it but didn't have the lumber. Here is a general idea of my build. It did change some from this design but stayed pretty close to it.

Ok....the total with shipping will be $999.00
Do it, you will be glad that you did.....although for me the canopy was actually harder to figure out than the stand. This in part that I didn't have the correct lumber for the framing.

to funny great JOB!!!!!!
shelbyzman;2995715; said:invisyblegypsey: in reality the total cost was around $45 in materials for the canopy. The cost of doing it myself and hitting my thumb with a hammer and nailing my finger into the plywood....priceless
